Look at all your presents baby!          Here are all your balloons too baby!
We wrote on your balloons but I didn't get pictures of that. We let them go
and watched them until we couldn't see them anymore. We know we didn't
do much for your birthday such as a real party but this was what we wanted
to do for you. We hope you liked it. We love you, Happy 1st year baby!!!

I remember like yesterday when you were born. I was only about 1 1/2 centimeters when we told everyone to go home. We thought you would take a while to come. But you surprised us all. It wasn't 15 minutes later and you were ready to arrive. When the doctor came in you were already crowning. She told me to wait, not to push, she wasn't ready yet. By the time she got her gown on and turned around... Daddy said you shot out like a cannon and luckily the doctor was there to catch you. I have no doubt that you have been a great sportsman.

Sweet Austin have a beautiful day in the snow with all your angel friends. Throw snow balls at your mommy and daddy. Also send them lots of angel hugs and kisses. Always in my thoughts and prayers. Keep your mommy and daddy close and give them strength. Hugs and kisses!

Daddy & I prayed for you so hard that when we found out you were coming we were so happy. Christmas day was when we told everyone. It was the best Christmas present your daddy & I could have ever gotten. I was so excited to tell everyone. I placed a note in a baby bottle and wrapped it as a gift from santa. When Mamaw opened it she had no idea it was from me. When she realized it was me she was so excited. You see, I have wanted children for as long as I can remember and have not been able to get pregnant. But when your daddy and I finally came together, it was magic. With in a year of getting back together we were married and pregnant with you. It seemed that finally we were going to get the fairytale ending we wanted. With you and your brother we would be very happy and hope to add to our family. You are so wanted and loved by all of us. 

Buying your first outfit was the most fun for daddy and me. It was a Tony Stewart onesie. But our favorite outfit is what we took to bring you home in and instead had you buried in. Daddy and Grandpa Randy are big St. Louis Cardinals fans, so we bought you the outfit with a matching hat and red & white socks. Instead of wearing it home you will wear it always. You looked so cute in it and I wish we could have put the hat on you but it would have covered up your face so we laid it at your feet. We will always have those pictures and our memories of you wearing our favorite outfit picked just for you. We love you Austin!

That morning in the hospital when we were told you had no heart beat was the worst of my life. We still had hope until the doctor confirmed you were gone. Daddy and I held each other and just cried for you. We lost our dreams we had for you and the hopes of what you would become. We were both trying to stay strong but that was a challenge. We had just lost our precious Austin that we had dreamed and hoped for. The hope we now have is that you are safe in heaven with family and that we will someday have little brothers and sisters that we can tell about you.

Your big brother Timmy was so upset when he found out that he lost his little brother. He loves you very much! Watch over him and keep him safe.

I remember how happy we were when we found out about Austin. We could not wait to meet him. We painted his room and bought him clothes that are just so very cute. Due to a blood clot we no longer have a sweet baby Austin. But I know we will be together again and we will be able to share all the love we have for him.
