Tiny Footprints on a Mother's Heart

When a baby arrives,
be it for a day, a month, a year or more,
or perhaps only a sweet flickering moment-
the fragile spark of a tender soul
the secret swell of a new pregnancy
the goldfish flutter known to only you-
you are unmistakeningly changed...
the tiny footprints left behind on your heart
bespeak your name as Mother.

God took the fragrance of a flower,the majesty of a tree,the gentleness of morning dew,the calm of a quiet sea,the beauty of the twilight hour,the soul of a starry night,the laughter of a rippling brook,the grace of a bird in flight,the tender care of an angel*Austin*,the faith of a mustard seed,the patience of eternity,the depth of a family's need,then God fashioned from these things a creation of no other, and when His masterpiece was through,He simply called it MOTHER.

I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day:) I will be thinking and praying for you and your family. I know our angels will be watching over us on this day.

   with God's blessings on each one.

Be thankful for our mothers,
 for they love with a higher love

AND TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I AM KEEPING YOU, HIS FAMILY, IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. IT'S SUCH A TRAGEDY TO LOSE OUR CHILDREN, JUST IS NOT NORMAL. I KNOW WE WILL SEE THEM AGAIN, ONE DAY~

For some things there are no shortcuts,no easy remedies when life throws you a curve ball and brings you to your knees.Sometimes it seems you can't win however hard you try when your faith is sorely tested and all you do is cry.It does no good to gripe,complain,when you're not up to par because true friends will understand and love us as we are.We sometimes need a helping hand before we see the light,and just knowing prayers are answered will help us through the night.We're not alone in time like these unless we choose to be,for God won't leave us comfortless in times of tragedy.There are angels all around us to catch us when we fall,and through His tender mercies we can rise above it all.Clay Harrison(Author) PatrickJay*GrdMama

Whether you are a mother for 1 day or 19 years this loss of a child never leaves your heart.  My two boys age 18 and 19 were taken to heaven on 9/11/08 and I miss them so much.

 

You are in my prayers and you can be sure my boys are watching over Austin in heaven.  

 

Just remember they are at home waiting for us.
