Only for a While
 
 
So helpless when their born,
Only our love to rely on.
Given from up above,
To love until their gone.
 
Not given out of anger,
But only out of love.
For us to teach the lessons,
That can’t be taught from up above.
 
Lent for a short time,
With only us to guide.
No day taken for granted,
No time for us to bide.
 
Deep sorrow will become our lives,
When he’s asked to go.
I have no choice in the answer,
But wish I could say no.
 
But I will do as I’m asked,
I will grieve everyday for you.
And realize in my heart,
One day I will be with you too.

Precious LIttle Child
 
 
So tiny a body
So little a hand
Cute little toes
That sink into the sand
 
Cute as a button
As I watch you grow
Soon one day
I’ll watch you go
 
Taken so violently
Drained of all life
Never to grow old
Nor ever to take a wife
 
Taken so soon
By God’s own choice
No matter how hurt
I must listen to his voice
 
Chosen for a reason
So special are you
Not ready to send
My most precious are you.
